About Me
I am a Women’s Health, and Paediatric Osteopath, passionate about helping women at all stages in their journey. I continue to be fascinated by the body’s functioning and its ability to adapt and self-heal, and how osteopathy and somatic yoga can facilitate these processes.
I graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine, and a diploma in Naturopathy. I am a mother to two teenage boys, and enjoy keeping active with them, alongside balancing work and my passion for further learning.
I have traveled a lot throughout my life and after graduating, had the wonderful opportunity to provide Osteopathic care in East Africa, and Malaysia. Since returning, I decided to address my own pelvic issues, and was intrigued by internal myofascial release, and how immensely it benefited me.
I decided to train further in treatments specifically related to women’s health and completed a Mummy MOT practitioner and Pelvic floor assessment training. Alongside this, I completed Jilly Bond’s Happy Bladder programme, and Jenny Burrell’s C- Section, Hysterectomy Scar Immersion training.
In addition, I am now a registered Yoga Teacher specialising in therapeutic somatic yoga. It is a gentle and mindful approach to yoga that focuses on reconnecting the mind and body through slow, deliberate movements. Somatic yoga encourages body awareness and helps release stored tension, promoting deep healing and balance. It is particularly effective for those recovering from trauma, chronic pain, or stress.
I offer both group Yoga classes and one-to-one Yoga sessions, for clients to explore healing through movement at their own pace.
